Still Shining centers on a story about two young people who gradually become each other's confidants and guiding light as they navigate life's challenges.

Yeon Tae-seo works as a subway driver and views the world through a sharp, pragmatic lens. Fiercely independent, he lives very much in the present, focusing on getting through "today" rather than worrying about the future. Having finally achieved the independence he longed for, his routine life begins to shift when he unexpectedly crosses paths with Mo Eun-a – his first love.

Mo Eun-a is a former hotelier who now manages a lodging business in Seoul. Full of warmth and passion, Eun-a has spent years setting goals for herself and pushing forward through both small victories and major setbacks. When fate brings her back together with Tae-seo, the two are forced to confront old feelings.
