This is a review and prediction that may contain some spoilers.
In episode 9, Tae-hyung's father shows up and breaks into Hyun-jin's room, looking for a seal he's obsessed with getting. When she catches him going through her things, he panics and throws a glass at her, putting her in real danger.
Tae-hyung arrives not long after and sees the mess his father caused. The threat is coming from his own blood, and the people he loves are the ones paying for it. When Yun-sung finds out what happened, he confronts Tae-hyung and bluntly tells him this isn't the first time Hyun-jin has been put at risk because of him.
Hyun-jin tries to comfort Tae-hyung. She tells him it's okay and reminds him that they're family. But that word doesn't comfort him anymore. Instead, it triggers him. Feeling like he's the problem, Tae-hyung decides to move out. He convinces himself that leaving is the only way to keep Hyun-jin and Woo-joo safe.
After moving out, he starts discovering painful truths about his childhood, especially about why his older brother left him at an orphanage. A document he receives at the police station shocks him and makes him realize how much misunderstanding and pain shaped his family. It fills him with regret over how he treated his brother and adds even more emotional weight to everything he's already carrying.
In episode 10, Yun-sung naturally begins spending more time with Hyun-jin and Woo-joo, basically stepping up in all the ways Tae-hyung used to. Hyun-jin even teases him about being good with kids. Still, no matter how helpful Yun-sung is, Hyun-jin feels the emptiness Tae-hyung left behind. She starts realizing just how much space Tae-hyung filled in her heart.
Meanwhile, Tae-hyung watches from a distance. He sees Hyun-jin smiling at Yun-sung and growing comfortable around him, but he can't step in because he's the one who left. But the emotional bond between Hyun-jin and Tae-hyung refuses to fade.
This drama is romantic that deserves five stars.
